If you own a diesel car manufactured since the 1st of January 2017 it is often mandatory that AdBlue is added to your engine. Your vehicle user guide will explain this in more detail and it will vary depending on the make and model. AdBlue is a non-toxic diesel exhaust fluid, made up of high purity urea and deionized water used to treat exhausts on diesel engines to reduce harmful emissions.
